Flowbases installed-let's get out of here!

All 6 flow bases have sucessfully been installed on the risers. Christmas trees (no not the ones that involve Santa kids) will eventually be landed on top of the flow bases and all this will be tied into to other wells which will finally tie into a platform producing gas to send ashore.
Well in a nut shell anyway, apologies to those in the sub sea engineering world. I'm just a DPO.
BUT, for now our decks are empty and a crew change is due. Job well done everyone now let's get going.

Owners representative busted!

Here is Oddvar Dronen- Havila's Owners Representative onboard. Oddvar is here to make sure we are looking after his companys boat/ship. He is also a qualified Captain with many years being Master of his own ship. Onboard right now we have an Australian Captain but if we were overseas- it would probably be Oddvar or someone from Norway.

As you can see, Oddvar is busy at work on the computer- ships business I'm told though it looks like some social networking page I think......

Catering team planning tomorrows menu..

From front left round the back to front right:
Rob Goble-Chief Cook, Jayson Sinclair-Night Cook, Keith Thompson-Day Steward, Paul Magnus-Night Steward, Dave Foster-Chief Steward and Matt Gardner- Day Cook.
I'm sure Go Offshore would be very happy to see you showing off the company t-shirts. A very matching team in deed!
We are spoilt with delicious meals, great snacks, beautful cakes and slices...most of us as always are battling to not put on too much weight with all the lovely food guys. Thank you very much!

Our newest addition to the Bridge team!

1st Officer Mark Webb joined us in the middle of March. We are not sure how long we will have the pleasure of his company but we think if he wants to come back that we might allow it.

As 1st Officer, Mark is not only the senior DPO on the afternoon shift, but also our lucky Safety Officer onboard.

The Bosun

Well it's pretty obvious that this is Rick the Bosun but just in case you didn't know....this is Rick Lobley, one of the Havila Harmony's lovely seamen
